PROPOSED RECOMMENDATION

To undertake a procurement exercise for improved drainage works and kitchen refurbishment at Langton Primary School.

BACKGROUND TO SUPPORT THE RECOMMENDATION

The scheme forms part of the CYPS School Condition Programme.

A competitiveprocurement exercise will be undertaken between February and March 2024.  The scheme is programmed to commence on site in June 2024 and is due to complete September 2024.

LEGAL AND GOVERNANCE COMPLIANCE

This is a key decision.  The proposal to procure was entered on the forward plan in December 2023.

The procurement exercise will be undertaken in accordance with the Council’s Procurement and Contract Procedure Rules and the Public Contracts Regulations 2015

RECOMMENDATION

That a procurement exercise be progressed for the project at Langton Primary School.
